Easts team that played was as listed in RLP with O'Loan in the centre and Callaghan at five-eighth. The team that was originally selected and listed in the programme had Callaghan at centre and Pickup at five-eighth but Pickup did not play.

I just thought I would let you know. In the game between St George and Western Suburbs at Kogarah Oval on May 6 1979.
-That St George Lead 12-10 at Halftime.
-The Scrums were 13-13.
-Mark Beaven was Sent Off.
-John Dorahy Kicked 2 Goals From 3 Attempts.
-Robert Stone came off the Bench for St George.
-Sorry to point this out. I notice for Western Suburbs. That you have John Crow as Second-Row.
-You also have Peter Young as Front-Row for Western Suburbs.
-John Crow and Peter Young both did not play in that game.
-Gerard Crowe was the Western Suburbs Second-Row for that game instead of John Crow.
-John Donnelly was the Western Suburbs Front-Row for that game instead of Peter Young.
