-That South Sydney Lead 26-6 at Halftime.
-Trevor Gillmeister was South Queensland Captain.

- Fred Blann was born 28 February 1914 in Surry Hills, NSW, and died on 9 August 1997. His full name was Frederick Alexander Blann. His wife Thelma Kadwell was the cousin of Kangaroo Harry Kadwell.
- John Coyne Sr was born in Wickham, NSW. His full name was John James Coyne, and he was known as Jack.
- Frank Curran's DOB should be 6 March 1908 in Ballina, NSW, as per his birth record. Other records say the 7th or the 8th. The birth details on the site are for an unrelated person of the same name, and I suspect has come from Wikipedia.
- Arthur Dean was born 30 September 1912 in Redfern, NSW, and died on 11 June 1998. His full name was Arthur Frederick Dean.
- Harry Eyers' DOB should be 16 August 1908 (instead of the 13th).
- Eddie Finucane was born 5 April 1916 in Redfern, NSW, and died on 20 February 1991. His full name was Edward James Finucane.
- Harleigh Hanrahan was born in Robertson, NSW. His full name was John Harleigh Hanrahan.
- Eddie Hinson was born in Redfern, NSW.
- John Hurst should be Jack Hurst. He was born 22 September 1912 in Redfern, NSW and died on 20 November 1998. His full name was Jack Francis Hurst, and his nickname was Choc.
- Eric Lewis' full name was Eric William Lewis.
- Les McDonald was born 7 September 1913 in Redfern, NSW, and died on 5 November 1997. His full name was Leslie Francis McDonald.
- Bernie Martin was born 4 October 1909 in Wellington, New Zealand, and died on 13 April 1991. His full name was John Bernard Martin Jnr. I think the incorrect birthdate on the site might have come from Wikipedia.
- George Shankland was born in Paddington, NSW. His death date should be 12 July 1988 (no idea where the other date came from). His full name was George Wallace Shankland, and he was the brother of Bill Shankland.
- Jimmy Stiff was born 7 June 1911 in Waterloo, NSW, and died on 21 December 1937. His full name was James Claude Stiff.
- Jim Tait was born in 1904 in Redfern, NSW, and died on 24 April 1972. His full name was Victor James Tait.
- Harry Thompson's full name was not Harold but rather Harry Gladstone Thompson. He was born in Moama, NSW.
- Alby Thorne should be Alby Thorn (although Thorne is a common spelling variation). He was born 10 April 1915 in Botany, near Mascot, NSW, and died on 12 October 1994. His full name was Albert George Bosley Thorn.
- Michael Williams was born 12 February 1910 in Port Macquarie, NSW, and died on 4 October 1984. His full name was Michael Albert Williams Jnr.
- Percy Williams was actually born 10 March 1910 in Sydney, NSW. The details currently on the site are for an unrelated Percy E(rnest) Williams. SSR Almanac lists 10 March 1910 as Percy's DOB.
- Keith Wylie was born 28 August 1909 in Redfern, NSW, and died on 23 July 2000. His full name was Keith Eric Wylie.

- Eric McCormack was born in 1905 in Kalgoorlie, WA, and died on 3 June 1997. His full name was Eric Roland McCormack.
- Eric was the brother of Jack McCormack, who played as a fullback for St George and several rep teams between 1927 and 1932. Jack's games are currently listed on the profile of Jim McCormack who later played as a forward for Souths and Canterbury.
- Jack McCormack was born in 1903 in Northcote, in Melbourne, Victoria, and died on 16 July 1996. His full name was John Charles McCormack.
- Jim McCormack was born on 8 December 1909 in Barraba, NSW, and died on 13 June 1969. His full name was James Thomas McCormack. He was not related to Eric and Jack.
- NB: The DOB currently listed on Jim's profile, 25 June 1904, is attributed to Jack on Wikipedia. It's definitely not Jim's DOB, but it may or may not be Jack's DOB (I can't check due to how the Victoria Birth Index website functions without buying the birth record). Jack was definitely born in 1903 not 1904 though.

Something to add to the match notes - Liam Martin wore the number 24 jersey in the second half as his number 12 jersey was damaged to treat a shoulder injury
