- I think Joe Acheson should be Jim Acheson. There's a mention in Rugby League News that J Acheson's birthday is 16 June (year not stated).
- There is a Joseph Acheson who was born in Leichhardt, but he was 16 years old for most of the 1937 season (his birthday was 19 August, so doesn't match). Therefore, I think this player's details are: born 16 June 1915 in Balmain NSW, died on 27 October 1977. Full name James Henry Acheson.

- Dave Colless should be spelled Colliss. Born 7 July 1911 in Wagga Wagga NSW, died 26 June 2004. Full name David Edward Colliss.
- Stan Cowie, born 19 April 1911 in Townsville Qld, died 17 July 1989. Full name Stanley Charles Cowie.
- Norm Cox, born 27 August 1908 in Wellington NSW, died 1 February 1965. Full name Norman Mowella James Cox.
- Maurice Fitzgerald, born in Glebe NSW. Full name Maurice Michael Fitzgerald.
- Tommy Grahame, born 21 September 1913 in Lambton, in Newcastle NSW, died in 1995. Full name Thomas L Grahame.

- Frank Johnston, born 12 August 1914 in Balmain NSW, died 25 July 1981. Full name Frank Ernest Johnston. He was the brother-in-law of George Frankland (Frank was married to George's sister Sadie)
- Also: Frank Horth was married to Marjorie Frankland, sister of George Frankland, in 1935. They divorced in 1942.
- During those years, Frank Horth was a brother-in-law of both George Frankland and Frank Johnston (I guess this is worth noting despite the divorce?)

- Jim Murden, born 22 November 1912 in Drummoyne NSW, died 1 November 1961. His full name was James Edward Murden. He was also known as Mendelssohn Myhill Murden, which explains why his appearances for Balmain were reported as M. Murden or M. M. Murden. His birth record is under one name, but he was baptised under the other!
- Roy Palmer, born 23 August 1911 in Glebe NSW, died 14 November 2002. Full name Roy James Edward Palmer.
- Greg Toner, born 16 July 1911 in Waterloo NSW, died 14 January 1992. Full name Gregory Francis Toner.
- William Bischoff's DOB should be 26 September 1912, instead of October. His birthplace should be Maitland NSW. His full name was William James Bischoff.
- William Bischoff Jnr's death date should be 6 June 2023, instead of July.

Feedback/Suggestions / Maher Cup players
Last post by Max Turner - 07 July, 2024, 03:00:11 PM
Bit of a detour into Maher Cup players, particularly those that were easy to identify.

- Bill Argaet, born 18 October 1905 in Gundagai NSW, died 2 December 1987. Full name William John Nelson Argaet.
- Vernie Small, born 1906 in Murrumburrah NSW, died 19 May 1965. Full name Oriel Verney Small. (It sort of seems as though he went by Vernie even though his middle name was spelled Verney, but it's a bit inconsistent)
- Arnie Small, born 19 February 1912 in Murrumburrah NSW, died 31 January 1985. Full name Arnold Aubrey Small.
- Lex Small, Vernie Small, and Arnie Small were brothers.
- Assal Stitt, born 2 July 1904 in Adelong NSW, died 29 December 1950. Full name Assal Murty Stitt.
- Orlando Stitt, born 7 September 1906 in Adelong NSW, died 16 May 1980. Full name Orlando William Stitt.
- Assal and Orlando Stitt were brothers.
- Otto Beegling, born 28 December 1897 in Adelong NSW, died 22 November 1953. Full name Otto Carl Beegling.
- Neville Beegling, born 25 June 1904 in Adelong NSW, died 7 June 1966. Full name Neville Daniel Beegling.
- Otto and Neville Beegling were brothers.
- Laurie Lazzarini, born 26 January 1909 in Young NSW, died 8 September 1991. Full name was Lorenzo Vivian Lazzarini.
- Arthur Jasprizza, born 17 July 1907 in Young NSW, died 8 June 1994. Full name Arthur Dudley Jasprizza.
- Fred Quinlivan's death date should be 16 July 1976. (I think that's my error, my apologies!)

Thanks Greg. Some of it's still updating on the site, but the family links look good. Geoff Pryce's birth month should be July instead of June, however.

I have updated all the Pryce's I think I've got all the family links right. I have left Waine as Leon & Karl's cousin as that was already in there.

Feedback/Suggestions / Pryce family details and conne...
Last post by Max Turner - 06 July, 2024, 10:49:38 PM
- Will Pryce was born in Bradford, England. Full name is William Karl Pryce.
- Will Pryce is the son of Leon Pryce and nephew of Karl Pryce.
- Will Pryce is listed as coach for several Huddersfield games in 2021. I think this should be Ian Watson.

- Karl Pryce was born in Bradford.
- Leon Pryce's full name is Leon Jerome Pryce.
- Dennis Pryce was born in 1962 in Bradford. He's the father of Karl and Leon, and grandfather of Will.

- Geoff Pryce was born 17 July 1961 in Bradford, and died 5 December 2020. Full name was Geoffrey Winston Pryce.
- Steve Pryce was born in Bradford. Full name is Stephen Arthur Pryce.
- Geoff and Steve Pryce are brothers.

- According to this article, Dennis is a cousin of Steve and Geoff Pryce. I assume this means first cousin.**
- Steve and Geoff would therefore be first cousins once removed of Leon and Karl, and first cousins twice removed of Will.
** I don't have any confirmation of this, but it seems to fit.

- Waine Pryce was born in Bradford. Full name is Waine Asha Pryce.
- Waine is said to be a cousin of Karl and Leon, but from what I'm piecing together, this would not be first cousins. I'm not sure what the exact relationship is.

- Darcey Pryce is the same person as Darcey Price, with Price being the correct spelling. She was born 1 September 2000 in Oldham, England.
