Last post by Paul Carter - 28 May, 2026, 03:19:39 PMI just further query about Touch Judge appointments. I suspect the years you that might have some problems finding touch judges for game. Will be 1984 and also 1991 to 1996. Prior to the Grand Final in those years. Because in those years I have mentioned. While they were in the years where referee's appointments were kept secret game day. Also in those years Touch Judges were not listed in the Big League after games in those years I have mentioned.
-The other problems with Touch Judges you might have. Could be the playoff for fifth from 1983 to 1986 then again from 1988 to 1991. Also the touch judges for the ANZAC games in 1985. Which were not listed in Big League in the next round after those games.
-Another problem you could have with touch judges. Are the games in the midweek cup. Prior to the Midweek cup final. In particular from 1984.
-If I myself or anyone who posts in the forums. Happen to know who the touch judge are for games prior to grand finals/midweek cup finals in the years I have mentioned. Would you have no problems with anyone posting about it in the forums?

Last post by Paul Carter - 28 May, 2026, 01:30:38 PMJust further to this game between St George and Penrith in Round 23 1983. Going off the tackle counts in both The Sun and Daily Mirror both from Monday, August 8, 1983.
-Garry Newham who is currently listed as Second-Row for St George for this game. Actually came on as a replacement for St George in that game.
-Chris Walsh started this game as Second-Row for St George.
-Kevin Pobjie who is currently listed as Winger for Penrith in this game. Actually came on as a replacement for Penrith in that game.
-Rod Wright started this game as Winger for Penrith.
-Don Price is also listed at the bottom of the tackle count for Penrith in the Daily Mirror count from this game. Price however is not listed in the Sun tackle count from this game.
-I am starting to think. That unknown No. 15 for Penrith in this game is Kevin Pobjie.

-The starting time for this game was 3:05 pm.
-3:05 pm. Was the starting they had listed in the match summary for this game in Big League the week after this game.
-3:05 pm was also the scheduled starting time that was listed in Big League. In the week leading up to this game as well.
