Died 29 September 1993,

Played for St.Helens from 27 March 1926 till 1934played 289 matches scoring 280 tries.

Moved to Wiganfor £800. First match 25 August 1934 till April 1937. Played 103 matches scoring 90 tries

Then went back to St Helens on December 1938 till January 1939
