Born in Leigh and died 14 May 2022 aged  84

First team debut for  Huddersfield 26 January 1957 Played till 1963 ten moved to Batley

He was a scrum half

Joined Swinton in October 1972 He played 10 matches  Then moved to Huyton as player-coach
