- T Askie and L Askie is the same person, Trevor Askie. He was born 12 January 1916 in Cessnock, and died on 28 May 1982. His full name was Trevor Mason Askie.
- Jack Bonnyman was born 21 March 1920 in Stockton, Newcastle, NSW, and died on 1 April 1980. His full name was Matthew Bernard John Bonnyman.
- G Brodie was Colin Brodie. He was born 11 August 1915 in Eden, NSW, and died on 22 March 1961. His full name was Colin Bruce Brodie.
- ? Bythway should be Bill Bytheway. He was born 15 September 1908 in Stockton, NSW, and died on 18 June 1999. His full name was William Alexander Bytheway.
- Owen Campbell's DOB should be 17 December 1917. He was the uncle of Noel Pidding.
- C Charlton was best known as Chip Charlton. He was born 11 July 1910 in Narrabri, NSW, and died on 20 December 1991. His full name varies a bit but is mostly recorded as Clifford William Charlton.
- William Conlon's DOB should be 4 September 1910. He was born in Murwillumbah and died on 31 January 2003. His full name was William Charles Conlon.
- V Dobson was Vic Dobson. He was born 15 February 1910 in Waratah, Newcastle, NSW, and died on 5 August 1996. His full name was Victor Joseph Dobson.
- J Dorman was Jack Dorman.
- R Duncan and Rees Duncan Sr is the same person. His full name should be Rees Edward John Duncan. He was born 24 December 1902 in Stockton, Newcastle, NSW, and died on 21 September 1987.
- His son, the Kangaroo Rees Duncan's full name was Rees Edward Duncan.

- G Laidlaw was Geoff Laidlaw. He was born 12 December 1910 in Gosford, and died 21 May 1978. His full name was Geoffrey Gosford Laidlaw.
- Martin Laidlaw should be Milton Laidlaw. He was born 20 April 1880 in Balmain, and died on 9 May 1964. His full name was Herbert Milton Laidlaw. He was the father of Geoff Laidlaw.
- A bit of a bio for Milton Laidlaw:
Callan Park Mental Hospital attendant Milton Laidlaw played RU for Balmain before switching to the professional game. Laidlaw was treasurer of the Balmain Rugby League Club until he left the district in May 1909 to take up employment at the new Morisset Mental Hospital.

A short note: Played 10 Tests for the Wallabies (1931-33). Grandfather of Olympian and MP Zali Steggall.
- Arthur Toovey was born 13 July 1910 in Marrickville, NSW, and died on 19 November 1965. His full name was Arthur Edward Toovey.
- F Wilkinson was Frank Wilkinson.
- D Woods (Newcastle) was Dave Woods. He was born 8 August 1904 in Merewether, NSW, and died on 19 April 1989. His nickname was Doody and he was the brother-in-law of Jim Gibbs. The genealogy records predominately indicate that his full name was David Frederick Wood with no 's' at the end, but it appears he played as Dave Woods (whether intentional or not, his surname was almost exclusively reported with an 's'). This appears to be more of a spelling variation as opposed to a spelling error. Maybe a note for the page could be: David Wood, known as Dave Woods.
