Missing deaths from the past 12 months

(Cross-checking with David Middleton's article on NRL.com. Credit due for Larry Pinkerton and Ron Clifford in particular as I can't find any other announcement of their deaths online)

- Bob Moon, born 1933 in Waterloo NSW, died 18 November 2023. Full name Robert Tasman Moon. I think all of the South Sydney games currently credited to Ray Moon should be Bob's
- Peter Glynn died on 27 January 2024
- Paul Schultz died on 9 February 2024
- Larry Pinkerton died on 17 February 2024. Full name Larry James Pinkerton
- Bill Francis died on 17 February 2024
- GB/Wales' Lewis Jones died on 4 March 2024
- John Bond died on 10 March 2024
- Phil Lowe died on 20 March 2024
- Don Tosh died on 18 May 2024. Full name Donald Maxwell Tosh
- Jeff Hunt died on 25 May 2024. Full name Jeffrey Glenn Hunt
- Ron Clifford died in July 2024 (date unknown)
- George Downie died on 4 August 2024
- Jim Emirian died on 20 August 2024
- Steve Butler died on 12 September 2024. Full name Stephen John Butler
- Referee John Gocher died in October 2024 (date unknown)
- Georges Aillères died on 20 October 2024
- Josiah Abavu died on 29 October 2024. Full name Josiah Tony Abavu, brother of Bland Abavu
- Peter Langmack died on 4 December 2024. Full name Peter Francis Langmack, brother of Paul Langmack

I noticed with the NRL.com article that Ron Taylor's death was listed as 5 January 2024, but this was the date that his death seems to have been announced by South Sydney. He actually died on 29 December 2023: South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Roosters, Sydney Morning Herald.

The reporting of Keith Barnes' death date is a bit unclear. Lots of the news articles about his death are vague on when he died, while some have reported the date as 8 April 2024 (which was the date of the announcement). The Daily Telegraph, however, were specific in saying he "died on Sunday night," referring to 7 April 2024.
