Warwick Shirlaw was captain for Illawarra instead of Ron Costello as listed in the Daily Mirror 19-6-1974.

Mark Hughes came on as a replacement for Canterbury - see RLW V5 N14 dd 29-6-1974

In RLW V5 N24 dd 7-9-1974, on page 9, there is a story about Brian Milthorpe. In it, it states that the belated withdrawal of several top stars from the Illawarra side to play Canterbury in the AMCO Cup game gave Milthorpe a second chance to don the coveted red guernsey. So, we can add Milthorpe to the list of players for Illawarra, though I do not know who dropped out or if he was just a replacement.
