Correction - St.George Captain v Canberra Rd19 v Canberra at Seiffert

Craig Young and Graham Quinn are both listed as captaining St.George v Canberra on July 4th Rd 19 at Seiffert Oval.

The match report in the SMH mentions Young as St.George captain saying he had tired late on after playing in the Test v NZ on the Saturday night. Saints lost the game 22-25, their fourth straight defeat.

In the SMH dated Wednesday 7/7/82 the headline reads "Quinn is New Saints Captain". It mentions Young is offside with the refs and he had been marched an extra 10m after questioning a decision as captain v Canberra.

The team lists show Quinn as captain v Newtown for Rd20 with Young as the prop.

Thanks for that, this would explain the Wednesday newspaper article from when the St.George team was selected for the following game. Though Young was the captain he was having trouble communicating with the referees, the penalties v Canberra were 18-3 (in SMH article) as Saints had now lost 4 in a row they were desperate to get back on track and Quinn took over for the Newtown game in Rd20.
