Joined Doncaster in 1961. Played 175 games and scored 57 tries.

Moved to Halifax in December 1966 for £2500. Played 38 games and scored 19 tries.

Moved to Bramley in 1970 for £400. Played 199 games and scored 66 tries.

In Kanuary 1978 moved back to Halifax.in all matches for them he play 130 matches and scored 51 tries.

Played for Yorkshire in 1965 and 1967.
