Sorry to point this out. I notice for the second week of the Semi-Finals in 1983.
-That you have Ian McCall and Brian Wiseman as the two Touch Judges for the Minor-Semi between Canterbury and St George.
-While you have Max Tomsett and George Benson as the Two Touch Judges for the Major-Semi between Manly and Parramatta.
-Max Tomsett and George Benson were actually the two Touch Judges for the Minor-Semi between Canterbury and St George.
-While Ian McCall and Brian Wiseman were the two Touch Judges for the Major-Semi between Manly and Parramatta.
-My Sources in regards to all of this. I just watched the Minor-Semi between Canterbury and St George on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs II NRL Essentials DVD.
-I also just watched the Major-Semi between Manly and Parramatta on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles II NRL Essentials DVD.
-Also in Ian McCall's interview on the Life Members Series 5 years ago. On the New South Wales Rugby League Referees Association YouTube Channel. Their is footage during the interview of Ian McCall from the Manly v Parramatta Major-Semi as well.
