Possible correction to Dally Messenger/Dan Frawley

Morning Gents.

Received this on email from the Roosters club historian Alan Katzmann, he is generally pretty solid but this one I woud like some extra eyes to help confirm. He says:

Been meaning to bring this to your attention for some time. In this Round 7 Easts v Glebe match RLP has winger Dan Frawley kicking his only career field goal. Rugby League Tables does not have that but has Dally Messenger kicking two goals (instead of one).

Rugby League Annual has always had Dally's carer club points as 381 whilst RLP has had him on 379. Looks as if this is the two points missed by RLP and that Dan Frawley didn't kick that field goal.

Every newspaper The Evening News, The SMH, Sunday Times, The Sun, Sunday Sun, Referee all state Frawley kicked a field goal some even state Messenger passed him the ball.

The source of the confusion appears to be the Referee which although stating Frawley kicked a field goal it then in the details section credits Messenger with 2 goals and Frawley none.

I think little doubt Frawley kicked the field goal.
