There is a player for Norths wearing number 49 at 1:18, but I think it is Mal McLachlan & he reverts back to 1 again later. I looked back at BL to see who wore no. 49 for that year (Norths seemed to give each player their own number for the season in 1975) which was Gary Wonnacott. He last appeared in that number in round 5 as a reserve for U23s, so I don't think he got onto the field in first grade.
