- WestsArchive lists the second middle name of 'Ashberry' for Ken Sherwood. This is incorrect; Ashberry was the name of their residence so it makes the electoral rolls appear as "Sherwood, Frank Knyvet, Ashberry, Cotswold Rd, Strathfield." (The comma between 'Knyvet' and 'Ashberry' is a bit faded, which has probably contributed to the error). 'Ashberry' does not appear on his birth, marriage, or death records, and does not appear in electoral rolls when he's living at any other address.

- Do you have any information on J Loughrey who played halfback for Norths' lower grades in 1931? I think he would be the same person as Frank Loughrey, as the person I've identified is: born 17 February 1909 in Parramatta NSW, died 19 October 1946. Full name Justin Edmund Loughrey, but was known as Frank.

Born 9 August 1907 in Wellington NZ, died 16 October 1991. Full name Charles Edward Pickrang. Described as Māori, a Pacific Islander, or Zulu, his father was actually from St Croix in what is now the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Ken Wood, born 15 May 1906 in Petersham NSW. Full name Kenneth Thomas Wood. He was killed in action in New Guinea.

SSR Almanac website does not list the Souths player as a former North Sydney player. If it is the same person, he would have been aged 38 in his final season after a nine year absence from first grade.
