-That Tom Peet and Tony Danks were the two Touch Judges for this game.
-Auckland Lead 10-0 at Halftime.
-Sorry to point this out. I notice in that game for Parramatta. That you have Vince Fawcett Wearing No. 4. Troy Campbell Wearing No. 9. Darren Pettet Wearing No. 15. Robert Muchmore Wearing No. 16. Anthony Bonus Wearing No. 17.
-Fawcett Wore No. 37. When he played Centre for Parramatta in that game.
-Campbell Wore No. 17. When he played Hooker for Parramatta in that game.
-Petett Wore No. 25. Muchmore No. 15. Bonus Wore No. 34. When they all came off the Bench for Parramatta in that game as well.

-The Daily Mirror in their paper on Monday, August 29, 1983. Did not have any tackle counts for this game.
-However their Canberra Times in their report of this game on Sunday, August 28, 1983. Did say that Sam Backo came on to replace John McLeod in that game.
-I don't who the Newtown player wearing No. 17 is.

Sun tackle counts don't show any replacements for either team I don't have the Daily Mirror counts but I'll check next time I'm at the library hopefully next week.

Last post by Ted Baxter - 23 June, 2026, 03:36:28 AMA perfect example of why it should revert to the changes happened on the weekend. The Canterbury V Manly game where Burton & Crichton were switched. The game will have it noted in all reports that Crichton played 5/8, but the lists here & on nrl.com will be incorrect, although Fox Sports will differ. The NRL aren't that reliable; they still haven't fixed up the goal kicking mix-up from a couple of weeks ago, that I previously mentioned. This is your website, not mine, so you can do what you want. :)
