Newt: 4. Brown (see 0:09 + 0:11 + BL), 14. Unknown (see 0:15), 10. Geelan (BL).
There were a few late replacements for Newtown like Ray Downie normally a forward playing on the wing, Geelan moved from 2Row to centre, Brown from centre to HB & Ellis from reserves.
PP: 16. unknown - could it be Price who was a late replacement for Fenton? (see 0:12)

"How was it playing for Eastern Suburbs Roosters in 1983?
I was playing in a coaching academy in 1981 and I came second out of the group.
I joined the Roosters because I had a mate going there. I played the whole season in Reserve Grade. I managed a stint in First Grade when Ron Gibbs broke his leg and I came on as a replacement. After that I played the rest of the season in Reserve or Third Grade.
The First Grade game was a real buzz, I was marking Michael O'Connor.[/i]"
Alan at the Roosters has agreed he played apparently the Roosters didn't produce and Annual Report in 1983 and they used The Sun tackle counts to compile the player list he will work on getting him a heritage number.
